Alumni gathering and campaign event hosted by the Stewart family in Texas
Kathleen (B.S., '68, M.S., '73) and Tom Stewart (B.S., '69) hosted an outstanding USU alumni gathering and campaign event at their home in Austin Texas in February. Dean Carol Strong (Emma Eccles Jones College of Education and Human Services) presented a Campaign update and showed a DVD of university highlights. Attendees reflected fondly on their great days at Utah State. Joe Crum reflected on how much he feels that he owes USU for his current success and talked about his football days on the gridiron. Hawk Mendenhall shared his days at Logan's KVNU radio as the chicken. It was evident from those in attendance that Utah State University is rarely a one generation experience. USU will again be in Texas when the USU Aggies play the Texas A&M Aggies in College Station on September 19th. Those in attendance will be key volunteers for the pre-game event. Many thanks to the Stewarts for their generous hospitality.
