About the Pools
The HPER Building has two pools located behind the check-in desk at the locker room entrance. You must be an active student, taking six credits or more, or be a faculty staff member to use the pools during designated times.

Large Pool This pool maintains a cooler temperature, ideal for tough workouts or just lap swimming. The pool is open during Lap Swim and Open Rec Swim times. Space is limited, so patrons using the pool should be proficient swimmers. All patrons are to be respectful of others and practice good swimming etiquette.

Small Pool This pool maintains a warmer temperature, perfect for teaching, learning, playing and relaxing. This pool is open only during Open Rec Swimming hours. Children of students are allowed during Open Rec Swim times only and they must be accompanied by an adult. Children under eight must have a parent or guardian in the water at all times.
