Important Dates to Remember:
» Tuesday, September 29: Dues are due! After this this date, you won't be allowed to swim during our workouts until dues are paid and applicable forms and registrations are filled out.
» Saturday, October 3: No workout (Big Blue Triathlon)
» Saturday, October 17: No workout (Fall Break)
» Friday and Saturday, November 13 and 14: South Davis Swim Meet (No workouts due to meet and another Special Olympics Event) If you won't be competing, Come Volunteer!
» Thursday and Saturday, November 26 and 28: No workout (Thanksgiving Holiday)
» Saturday, December 5: Final Workout for Fall Semester

1. Swim Workout
- This program is here to provide a moderate to difficult workout to challenge the team members.
- The team will participate in the workout together by the coach's instruction. This time is for team workouts, not personal lap swimming.
2. Technique Improvement
- This is a competitive level team. Record setting standards won't be necessary to join. However, coach evaluation of skills will determine if private instruction and personal improvement need to precede participation on the team.
- Instruction will be given to improve strokes and competitive skills.
3. Competition
- Members of the club sports segment of the team will be required to participate in a minimum of 2 events each semester/season. See financial below.
- 1. The program will be offered through USU Campus Recreation and will be available for students and non-student, including employees and public. The fee will cover the expense of attending workouts, utilizing instruction from the swim coach, and will include a team swim cap and suit.
- a. Students' fee will be $65 per semester which includes US Masters Swimming Registration
- b. Faculty and public fee will be $75 per semester plus registration for US Masters Swimming ($25 for Sept through Dec 2009)
- c. Students are affiliated with club sports and receive funding. They will be required to participate in 2 events and attend workouts regularly. Those participating in the non-student segment are not required to compete.
- 2. The team may cover registration fees associated with the events but individual members will be responsible for incidental costs such as travel, lodging, and food.
- 3. Registration fees and what they include may change from semester to semester. Contact USU Campus Recreation office for details and current coach contact info.
