USU Aquatics Facilities
Two Swimming pools are located in the HPER Building. Students, University Employees, Non-students, and Families may use the pools during regular swim hours. Families or Non-students may be required to pay a fee. The hours of use are posted below. PLEASE PAY SPECIAL ATTENTION TO DEFINITIONS AND TIMES OF EACH ACTIVITY. A current USU ID is required for Students and USU Employees to enter the swimming pools. Non-Student and Family users must purchase a pass to use the pools. These passes are purchased at the HPER Service Desk; PRICING MAY VARY.
Below is the list of different kinds of swimming activities available in each pool.
LAP SWIM: Use of the lap lanes for intermediate to advanced swimming. Non-swimmers are not allowed in the lap lanes. There is a limited amount of space during lap swim times for water walking/jogging/treading.
RECREATION SWIM: Recreational use of the small pool. Families with children are allowed during REC swim. Ask for additional policies that apply for youth, children and infants.
DIVING: Use of diving boards only.
