What is Small Group Training?
Experience a workout program like never before! Join a group of 6-10 participants with a certified instructor at the ARC for a fusion between personal training and group fitness, where you’ll receive personalized instruction with the motivation and accountability of a group. All classes are adaptable for every fitness level and will progress in intensity each week to help you reach your fitness goals.
What are the benefits?
Each program includes two Fit 3D assessments, weekly group workouts, one 20-minute meeting with your small group coach, and two 30-minute nutrition consultations with a Registered Dietitian to provide you with a comprehensive plan to reach your goals.
Spring 2019 Small Group Programs
Date & Duration: Tuesdays & Thursdays from 7:30-8:30pm for 8 weeks (16 classes)
Be the first to use the brand-new, state-of-the-art Freemotion NordicTrack CST cable machine for a revolutionary total body strength and cardio workout. This fun and effective workout will torch calories, build lean muscle, and help you achieve all your fitness goals.
Lean by Lifting
Date & Duration: Mondays & Wednesdays from 5:30-6:30pm for 6 weeks (12 classes)
Instructors: Garrett & Jordyn
Whether you are interested in learning the basics of lifting weights or want to change things up in your lifting routine, get stronger and leaner with this cutting-edge program designed by two certified personal trainers and a strength & conditioning coach. You’ll walk away with greater confidence in the gym and a better understanding of how to perform a variety of exercises using barbells, dumbbells, kettlebells, cable machines and more. This is a great introduction to the USU Strength & Conditioning classes and a beginner-friendly program.
Ready to Race
Date & Duration: Tuesdays & Thursdays from 5:30-6:30pm for 6 weeks
Instructors: Raquel & Megan
Prepare for an upcoming race in this 6-week program featuring treadmill workouts, incline workouts, and cross-training designed to improve your stamina, speed, and endurance. You’ll be introduced to different types of race training for road races, trail runs, and obstacle course racing. Beginners and runners of all speeds, shapes and sizes are welcome.
Date & Duration: Mondays from 7:30-8:30pm for 4 weeks

Grab a partner (or be paired with one) for this 4-week interactive workshop introducing fun partner-based yoga poses that will challenge both your mind and body, and encourage you to have fun and play! Partner sign-ups are welcome, but not required. Beginner-friendly program.
