Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
We give the GRE on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays at 12:30 p.m. by appointment. Other appointment times occasionally become available--Wednesdays, evenings, even some Saturdays--depending on our schedule. Please check the GRE website for all currently available seats and times at our center.
Register online at http://www.ets.org/gre/revised_general/register. Cost is $195.

The GED is given on Mondays and most Thursdays from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Cost is $120. To register go to www.gedtestingservice.com and click on "Test Takers" then on "Testing on Computer" to register.
You will be required to set up an account with a user name and password and input your biographical information (name, birth date, address, etc.)

Praxis exams are generally available on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, during two-week windows of "open" time, approximately one window each month. Windows are set by the Praxis company. Other appointment times occasionally become available--Wednesdays, evenings, even some Saturdays--depending on our schedule. See Praxis website for all dates and times currently available.
Cost varies from $100 to approx $150, depending on exam.

All exams for online classes and distance education classes are given through the Logan Distance Education Testing Center on the bottom floor of the Distance Education Building, room DE 003. Call 435-797-3617 or 855-834-2370 for information or scheduling.
Math Placement testing is offered Mondays through Thursdays from 8:30 a.m. to approx 3:30 p.m. and on Fridays from 8:30 a.m. until approx 2:30 p.m.
Cost is $10.
Go to www.registerblast.com/usu/exam to register in advance. Tests are given on a walk-in basis when possible, but appointments are strongly recommended as our schedule is often full and seats may not always be available.
