Career AGGIE Alumni Mentor Network
Contact USU alumni in Career AGGIE who have volunteer their expertise and experience in assisting students with their career search. Click on "JOB SEEKERS: Students and Alumni" and register in order to have access to the system.

USU Major Fair
Attend the USU Major Fair typically held in October hosted by the University Advising office.

Individual Career Action Plan (ICAP)
Use the ICAP to make the process of career planning more manageable. Career coaches can aid you in creating a manageable ICAP.

USU Fairs and Expos
Attend a variety of fairs held throughout the year to learn about career options. USU has a long history of hosting the largest career fair in the state!

Vision Poster

Create a poster composed of pictures and images cut from magazines. Select images based on your positive response to them. The process of creating a vision poster helps you become aware of your values and dreams. Place it where you will see it every day so it can serve as an effective motivator to keep you “on-track” and focused.

Bookstore

Visit the USU Bookstore and review textbooks in majors of interest to measure your interest in reading them.

USU Faculty and Staff

Review web pages of professors in departments of interest to learn about the focus of their research. Observe what the professional and classified staff is doing. Conduct informational interviews with those doing jobs of interest.
