Teacher Credential File Information

New Credential File Policy

In various meetings held with the Student Teacher Coordinators for Elementary, Secondary, and Special Education, and the Associate Dean of Teacher Education, Graduation and Educator Licensure, it was decided that as of January 1, 2008, all teachers will be required to self-manage their own credential files. Those who have created a file with Career Services in January 2008 will be contacted and their money will be refunded. Those who created files with us prior to January 1, 2008, will be advised on a case-by-case basis regarding their options.

For those that would prefer not to self-manage their files, you can submit your credential file materials to a credential service provider – a business that will update and submit your materials per your instructions.
