Twenty-one credit hours of course work are required.
All students must take the following TWO classes:
HIST 3130 Greek History (3)
HIST 3150 Roman History (3)
They must take ONE of the following courses in ancient archaeology:
HIST/ARTH 3110 Ancient Near East (3)
ANTH 1030 World Archaeology (3)
They must take ONE of the following courses in ancient literature and language:
CLAS 1100 The Latin & Greek Element in English (3)
CLAS 3160 Classical Drama and Society (3)
CLAS/ARTH 3210 Classical Mythology (3 )
They must take one of the following courses in ancient art:
ART 4610 Greek and Roman Art (3)
They must take one of the following courses in ancient intellectual history:
HIST 4350 Greek Intellectual History(3)
POLS 4310 History of Political Thought I (3)
PHIL 3100 Ancient Philosophy (3)
The remaining 3 credits are elective and may include any of the courses listed above.
