Twenty-one credit hours of course work are required.
All students must take the following TWO classes:
HIST 3130 Greek History (3)
HIST 3150 Roman History (3)
They must take ONE of the following courses in ancient archaeology:
HIST 3110 Ancient Near East (3)
ANTH 1030 World Archaeology (3)
ANTH 3170 Origins of Writing (3)
They must take ONE of the following courses in ancient literature and language:
CLAS 1100 Latin & Greek Element in English (3)
CLAS 3210 Classical Mythology (3)
THEA 5290 History of the Theatre: Classical Drama (3)
They must take one of the following courses in ancient art:
HIST 4210 Celtic Europe (3)
ART 4710 Greek and Roman Art (3)
They must take one of the following courses in ancient intellectual history:
PS 4310 History of Political Thought (3)
CLAS 3140 Greek Intellectual History(3)
PHIL 3100 Ancient and Medieval Philosophy (3)
The remaining 3 credits are elective and may include any of the courses listed above.
