How do I view my online pay-stub?

How many banks can I have my checks deposited into?

Pay checks can be deposited into a maximum of two banks. A primary and secondary. The secondary can be a dollar amount or a percentage.

Central Distrbution (797-1875)

How do I change my name?

The name in the payroll system must be identical to the name printed on your social security card. Complete the name change portion of the form and bring the form and your social security card to the Payroll Office for verification

What are the pay dates for Utah State University?

Salary employees (SA) and Grad assistants (GA) are paid the first business day of the month. Hourly employees (HX) are paid the 10th and 25th of every month. If the pay date is on a weekend or holiday the actual payday will be the following business day

Is a voided check required to sign up for Direct Deposit?

Yes, however if one is not available contact your bank and obtain a form with the proper routing number and account number (Note: We cannot use deposit slips, they do not have the proper routing number)

Where do I turn in my timecards?

Directly to your department

How do I change my address for payroll?

Address changes can be made online using Self Service Banner (update the MA mail code) or complete and submit a Change of Address Form to the Payroll Office. All information from the Payroll Office is addressed to the (MA) mail code

Why do I sometimes have FICA taxes deducted?

If you are not enrolled as a half-time student or more we are required to deduct FICA taxes. FICA tax deduction waivers are not applicable to benefited employees.

What if I missed getting someone on Payroll?

If the employee is a salary employee (SA) or grad assistant (GA), email the Payroll Office (debbie.hansen@usu.edu) requesting to put the employee on the supplemental payroll (see calendar for cut-offs and pay dates) If the employee is hourly (HX) add the missed hours to the next pay period using the earn code "HRP" (Hourly Prior)
