How to Obtain Permissions
Students retain the copyright on the work of theses and dissertations at Utah State University. They provide a paper archival copy to the Library as well as permission to post an electronic version of the work in the Digital Commons.
To use the material found in a thesis or dissertation, a request must be made to the author (student). To use copyrighted material in a thesis ordissertation, it is the students' responsibility to obtain the proper permission from the copyright holder. The Graduate School requires that the permission form granting use of the material be included in the thesis or dissertation.
