David Goetze, Administrative Director of the Center
Dr. Goetze received his Ph.D. in Political Science from Indiana University. He is currently Associate Professor of Political Science, Utah State University. He is also a Member of the Science Council, Multiethnic Conflict Prevention Center,University of Bihac, Bosnia-Herzegovina; an Associate of the Workshop in Political Theory and Policy Analysis, Indiana University; and an Associate of the Institute of Cognitive and Decision Sciences, University of Oregon. His research interests include: the origins of human dispositions to conflict and cooperation, causes of conflict and cooperative behavior in contemporary environments, and ethnic conflict.

Jing Huang, Co-Director of the Center
Dr. Huang received his Ph.D. in Political Science from Harvard University and is currently Associate Professor of Political Science, Utah State University. He is also Co-Director of the Asian Studies Center, Utah State University and an Associate of the Fairbank Center, Harvard University. His research interests include: Chinese civil-military relations, Chinese foreign policy, Chinese-American conflict and cooperation.

Ned Basic
Dr. Basic received a Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Sarajevo. He is currently Associate Professor of International Public Law and International Relations, University of Bihac, Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina. His research interests include: international law, human rights and conflict, international relations theory.

Dr. Herzberg received her Ph.D. from the University of Washington, St. Louis. She is currently Associate Professor of Political Science at Utah State University. Her research interests include experimental game theory and public policy, especially health and economic policy.

Dr. Koybaeva received her Ph.D. from St. Petersburg State University, Russia. She is currently Assistant Professor of Languages and Philosophy, Utah State University and Research Fellow at the Center for International Studies, Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Her research interests focus on international affairs.

Dr. Lambert received her Ph.D. in Anthropology from the University of California, Santa Barbara and is currently Assistant Professor of Sociology, Social Work and Anthropology, Utah State University. Her research interests include: physical anthropology and the origins of war.

Dr. Mentzel received his Ph.D. from the University of Washington and is currently Assistant Professor of History, Utah State University. His research interests include: Eastern Europe, Islamic civilizations, and the Ottoman Empire.

Dr. Rhodes received her Ph.D. in Political Science from Brandeis University and is currently Professor of Political Science, Utah State University. Her research interests include: international relations theory, evolution of trade cooperation, the European Union, and NAFTA.
