General Studies provides students the opportunity to pursue a personalized course of study. This allows students to explore and integrate academic offerings from across multiple departments, programs, and colleges.

Program Requirements
All Associate Degrees available through Utah State University require:
- General Education courses
- Degree specific courses and/or elective courses
- Minimum 2.0 GPA
- Total of 60+ credits
- At least 20 USU credits
Labs, Centers, Research
With the second oldest undergraduate research program in the nation, USU offers students a wide range of opportunities to gain hands-on research experience. USU’s Honors Program prepares students for excellent graduate programs by helping them build relationships with professors, participate in research projects, take smaller, more intensive classes, and develop leadership skills.
