About This Degree

The Cosmetology program at USU Eastern a program where students receive 100% of their instruction face-to-face with instructors.

Students who complete this program are prepared to take the State Board Exam to become a Licensed Cosmetologist.

What You Will Learn

During the program students gain experience in Cosmetology, Barbering, Nails and Skincare. Students also prepare a portfolio that they can use as they interview for employment. All graduates of the Cosmetology program are prepared to work in a full service salon.

Students may also choose to complete the Nail Technician program, the Lash program, or the Barbering program.

You may choose to work in an independent salon, a spa salon, a national franchise or an independent chain.
