What is it about Homecomings, Reunions, and running into old teachers and classmates that catches us all so well? It is because a part of us never really leaves the school where we were students. Education is a never ending process of learning and sharing. With this in mind, the Deaf Education Student Association is expanding its vision to include and benefit the Alumni Students of Deaf Education.

Our Goals:

Provide quality continuing education and professional development for the field of Deaf Education.

Provide a common ground to unite on issues and causes facing Deaf Education.

Provide networking between Deaf Schools, Teachers, and Upcoming Teachers.

Become a forum for discussion, sharing of ideas, and change for the system.

Let us all work together to do as Dr. Freeman King suggests, “Don’t just rock the boat, sink the [whole] thing.”
