| Who is required to buy a Traditional Meal Plan? |
| Though any USU resident can purchase a Traditional Meal Plan, residents of the Living Learning Community, Mountain View Tower, Valley View Tower, and Bullen Hall are required to. |

| Do I get a separate card? |
| No, your USU ID card is your meal card. After each swipe, the cashier can tell you howe may meals you have left for the week. Your ID Card may only be used by you. |

| How do Cash Equivalencies work? |
| Cash Equivalencies work the same way, by swiping your ID Card. Students have a per diem of $6.00 good towards any meal. Purchases over this amount are to be paid by the student at the time of purchase. With Traditional Meal Plans, Cash Equivalency only works once per day. |

| What are Guest Passes? |
| Guest passes allow residents to purchase a meal for friends, family or other guests. Resident must be present to use the guest passes. |

| How do I change my meal plan? |
| Before the beginning of each semester you may change your meal plan by emailing the Housing office at info@housing.usu.edu. Include your A# and what changes you would like to make to your meal plan. Once the semester starts, meal plans may be decreased once per semester by contacting the Housing Office. Meal plans can be increased anytime by the same method. Exceptions mus be approved by Alan Andersen the Executive Director of Dining Services. Alan.andersen@usu.edu. |

| Can my friends use my meal plan? |
| No. This meal plan is non-transferable and may be used by the purchaser of the meal plan only. Anyone attempting to use another person's meal plan may be prosecuted for theft. Guest passes are the only exception. |
