Important Note: The following information guides you to enter your information in the new directory. If you need to add/update the current online phonebook, please go to www.usu.edu/phonebook/.
Dear Faculty and Staff,
To ensure a complete and accurate listing of a new online phone directory, we are asking you to visit your Banner account to update or enter new information.
We want to emphasize that all university employees should list a work phone number, whether it be a campus phone or cell, or both. Listing additional phone numbers is optional.
Please take the following steps (about 3 minutes of your time):
- Go to MyUSU: http://www.usu.edu/myusu/
- Click on "Login to Access" and login
- Once logged in, click on "Personal Information"
- Click on the first link: "View/Update Directory Address and Phone Numbers"
- Update your information and click submit
- To update your preferred e-mail, go back to the "Personal Information" page and click on "View/Update Preferred E-mail Address."
The new directory should be available in the next few months. It is being produced by Public Relations & Marketing in collaboration with Information Technology. This new online directory will replace the current "online phonebook," which relied entirely on the old printed phonebook for its database. That telephone directory has been out of print the last two years, which has resulted in an outdated online version.
With this new directory, data is being gleaned directly from the universityıs central Banner system as a result of modifications made by Information Technology. This promises users a directory that is much more robust, accurate and current since listings can be instantly updated, including phone numbers, e-mail addresses, and UMC mailing addresses.
