Fingerprinting Services


The USU Police Department has just gone online with the Utah Bureau of Identification with Live Scan fingerprinting. This means that if you choose the Live Scan option, your fingerprints will be processed in less than a week instead of two to three months or even longer. The costs for Live Scan processing, listed below, are higher than for the regular process. Please contact us for details.

Fingerprinting services are available by appointment only. We are not able to accommodate walk-ins. Please call 797-1939 to schedule an appointment.

TUESDAYS ONLY
10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

(Just north of Romney Stadium in the Public Safety Building. Entrance is on the east side.)

Cost:

For USU Staff/Faculty/Students
or persons seeking state or teaching licensure -- $10.00*
you must provide valid USU ID and valid, government-issued ID
(driver license, passport, state-issued ID, etc.)

For all others -- $25.00*
you must provide valid, government-issued ID
(driver license, passport, state-issued ID, etc.)

* These fees are for up to two (2) Live Scan fingerprint cards. Each additional fingerprint card will be 1/2 of the original base fee.

Bring with you:

You must bring your fingerprint cards, your valid government-issued ID, and your valid USU ID (if applicable).
