How might faculty participate in deciding accommodations?

The professor, interacting with the DSO counselor and Esperanza, suggested a variety of specific course accommodations. The professor made it clear that the skills and knowledge derived from the lab are essential to the purpose of the course and, thus, the lab should not be waived.

Instructors are experts on their course objectives and requirements. So, at times, instructors may be asked to join the DSO counselor and the student to help design appropriate accommodations
