Video / Quicktime problems
How do I watch the videos? If QuickTime 4 or later is installed on your system, you can watch the video by clicking on the link in the section that contains video. If you have an older version of QuickTime or Windows Media Player opens in the browser, you need to install the most current version of QuickTime.
How do I install QuickTime? 1. Download QuickTime for your operating system. 2. Run the QuickTime installer 3. On Windows, make sure you have a current version of DirectX
For more information and troubleshooting techniques, check Apple’s QuickTime Support page.
Why does the video look smashed? If you are using Windows, this may be the result of having an outdated version of the DirectX plugin. Download the DirectX plugin.
The video doesn’t appear or plays choppy. Check Apple’s System Requirements for QuickTime to make sure your machine has the minimum requirements necessary for playback. If the system requirements check out fine, then try downloading and installing the most current version of QuickTime and DirectX (see question above).
Are other formats available? This version of Accommodating Students with Disabilities does not support other video formats.
