How do I print a page?
In the presentation or exploration sections, you can print everything but more information links and embedded videos by using the print button in the top right corner. This button does not start printing the page, but puts the contents in a printer-friendly format. When that page is generated, select Print from the File menu and proceed as usual.
Why is my printer chopping the right side of the page?
The ASD Web Training program is optimized for on-screen viewing, making it a little wider than a page. Some printers may chop off the right side when attempting to print from the browser, due to this wider format. To get a better print-out, click "print" in the upper right corner. This will format the page in a printer-friendly way. Then you can print from that window as you normally would.
The main difference between these two sections is what is available from each page. The presentation is patterned after a live workshop, so you must proceed sequentially using the orange arrows for next and previous page in the bottom right corner. In exploration mode, you can jump from page to page and section to section using the links at the top and on the left. These options are disabled in presentation mode. Help and print are always in the top right corner.
Why can’t I print the quiz or other pages?
Currently, only the content portion of the program, seen through the presentation and exploration sections, can be made in the printer-friendly format. You may print the other pages using the standard Print command in the File menu of your browser, but this may cause the printer to chop the right edge of the page.
