What’s an example of a syllabus statement?

Check with your department or college to see if they have a designated syllabus statement. The statement may look something like this example:

"In coordination with the Disability Service Office, reasonable accommodation will be provided for qualified students with disabilities. Please meet with the instructor during the first week of class to make arrangements. Accommodations and alternative format print materials (large print, audio, diskette or Braille) are available through the Disability Service Office, located on the bottom floor of the University Inn, 797-2444."
