In review, there are a variety of ways students get to the DSO. Faculty can help students who are unaware of disability services by including a disability statement on their syllabi, referring them to the appropriate office, and ensuring that all disability-related accommodations are arranged through the DSO.
Sometimes changes need to be made to the original accommodation plan. Always communicate these changes in writing to the DSO.
