Diane Baum

Diane Baum Director
I am Diane Baum. I am the director of the Disability Resource Center where I have worked since 1981, and as director of this program, I do not get to meet every student, so please stop by to meet me. My door is always open.

Outside of work, I love to garden, travel and read about history . It is best when I can do all three at once: I take trips to see gardens and historical sites and read about gardens and history.

David Pruden

David Pruden Assistant Director
My name is David Pruden. I am the Assistant Director here in the DRC. I work as both a counselor and an ASL interpreter. I earned my B. S. degree in Family and Human Development here at USU and then attended the University of Utah, where I completed a Masters Degree in social work. After working for a time as a mental health therapist I was excited to have the the opportunity to return to USU. I love working with students and enjoy seeing the progress they make while here at USU. Feel free to stop by and see me or make an appointment.

Angie Olsen

Angie Olsen Deaf Services Coordinator
I am Angie Olsen. I am the Deaf Services Coordinator. If you see me, I will probably be talking with my hands, and if you know ASL, hopefully it makes some sense!

When I am not at work, I like to scrapbook. My favorite is creative lettering….this is my artistic outlet. I also enjoy working in my small flower garden and watching things grow.

Chris Lord

Chris Lord Learning Disabilities Specialist
I'm the Learning Disabilities Specialist at the Disability Resource Center here at USU. I also work with students who have ADHD. I teach Psychology 1730, Strategies for Academic Success and help students with their transition to the University.

When I am not at work, I like to do things with my daughters. Usually, we usher for the opera and other performances. Since my youngest daughter is majoring in theatre, we go to a lot of plays. I also love to garden, read novels, and play the flute.

Daleen King Testing Coordinator
Hi, my name is Daleen King; as the Testing and Alternate Format (AF) Coordinator, I'm responsible for helping students obtain alternative format books. I also make arrangements for all students who take tests within our office.

Tina Peck

Tina Peck Receptionist/Note taking Coordinator
My name is Tina Peck. I have worked at the DRC since April of 2004. Before I came to USU I worked as a scheduler for Handi-Trans, which was the Para-Transit in Box Elder, Weber and Davis Counties.

When I am not at work I am studying, playing with my children, or watching Law and Order.

Stephanie Dolence

Stephanie Dolence ASL Interpreter
Hello! Although I'm a recent transplant from Kentucky, the mountains of Utah have long been in my heart. I have been involved with the Deaf community and interpreting for over 17 years.

When I get the chance, I love to snow ski, mtn bike, play & teach tennis, hike… just about anything outdoors!

Adam Rounds

Tina Peck Finance/Alternate Format (AF) Coordinator
As the Business Manager, I manage the finances involved with providing all of our services here at the DRC. As the Alternate Format (AF) Coordinator, I'm responsible for providing students access to the information in their textbooks. I have worked with the university since 2010 in several different departments. I have a BA in Spanish and Psychology from State University of New York at Potsdam and and an MBA from Utah State. I enjoy reading and spending time with my family.
