Positive Appreciation & Reinforcement (PAR)

 The Facilities Organization has a Positive Appreciation & Reinforcement (PAR) Team in place. Its charge is to recognize those employees who exemplify the Mission, Vision, and Values of the Facilities Department.

The PAR Team regularly presents several awards throughout the year: Employee of the Month, Performance Recognition, Winning Spirit, Step-Up, Teamwork, Innovation, and Safety awards.  Each year in May, the Facilities employees are rewarded with the annual "Thank-You Breakfast" to recognize all the hard work done to prepare for Commencement Exercises.  The Annual Facilities Picnic at Adam's Park is also held for all employees and retirees. At this event, Partnership Awards are presented to vendors who have been nominated.  At our Annual Christmas Luncheon, Director's Awards are presented to any outstanding employees, along with the presentation of the Employee of the Year.
