Quick Question Newsletter
Dear Colleagues,
It is not uncommon for students to tell us they have a "quick question," and as professors we also use the term with each other when asking for advice or input. Quick Question, an occasional online newsletter from the office of the Vice Provost for Faculty Development and Diversity, deals with topics relative to teaching, scholarship, and career development in an abbreviated format in Quick Question. However, just as most quick questions have a short and long answer, the articles in Quick Question while providing a short answer, will give references, where possible, for a longer answer. Many of the articles address the questions and concerns of our newest untenured faculty members, but some articles are of general interest across academic ranks. I hope you will find Quick Question helpful. Please email Tammy Firth at tammy.firth@usu.edu to give comments or suggest quick questions for future issues.
Best,
Ann M. B. Austin
