    The Strong Human Services Award

    This award was established by the former Dean, Dr. Carol Strong, as a means of recognizing outstanding achievements and contributions to the field of human services.


    The National Council for Research on Women has awarded The Center for Women and Gender at Utah State University the "Emerging Center" award. Congratulations to Dr. Ann Berghout Austin, Director of the Center, for this outstanding honor.

    The awards will be presented at the 2013 Making a Differencefor Women Awards
    at the Afternoon Forum: Leading to Economic Security

    Shirlene Law, M.S. (Uintah Basin) has received the 2013 Teacher of the Year Award by the Utah Early Childhood Conference.

    Shirlene received this award at The Utah Early Childhood Conference at Cottonwood High School on March 23, 2013. She was nominated for this award by parents, colleagues, and other early childhood professionals. The link below gives additional information.
