    Courses Taught

    I have taught undergraduate classes in human development as well as marriage and family relationships. My graduate courses include practicum and survey of research methods in marriage and family therapy.

    Research Interests

    ·Couple therapy process and change process research
    · Adapting treatment to reduce dropout and improve therapeutic outcomes
    · Intrapersonal and interpersonal characteristics that influence couple interaction and daily support processes.
    · Interpersonal process and outcome assessment
    · Couple and family dynamics involved in substance use initiation and cessation
    · Relationship infidelity and the process of disclosure
    · Relationship processes in families with child who has a cleft lip and palate.
