Courses Taught

I have taught undergraduate classes in marriage and family therapy, family crisis, theories of human development, courtship and marriage, family structure, and interpersonal skills. Graduate courses taught include sex therapy, assessment, ethics and professional issues, family therapy practicum, family therapy theory, seminar in family relations, and family life education.

Research Interests

My main research interests are in the area of marital issues, marriage and family therapy process, and assessment of dysfunction. The following will give an idea of topics in each area:

MARITAL/FAMILY ISSUES

psychoeducation groups for stepfamilies
psychoeducation groups for adoptive parents
sources and accuracy of information given to engaged couples

marital history interviews and prediction of divorce
