Chapter Officers

2008-09 Officers

 

President: Shane Scoffield

Shane is originally from Thatcher, Utah. He served as the Utah FFA Association President in 2006-2006.

Vice President Jarvis Pace

Jarvis is originally from Spanish Fork, Utah. He served as a Utah FFA Association state officer in 2006-2007. He is an agricultural education major

Secretary: Brittney Selman

Brittney's home town is Elwood, Utah. She attended Bear River High School and served a Utah FFA Association state officer in 2008-2009. She is an agricultural education major.

Treasurer: Sasha Griffeth

Sasha's home town is Preston, Idaho. She was very active in FFA in high schools and is an agricultural education major.

Reporter: Hailey Mae Haslam

Hailey was raised in Morgan, UT, and was very active in the Morgan FFA Chapter.  She recently transferred from Snow College and is a junior studying Agricultural Education. She hopes to receive a master’s degree and become an Agricultural Extension Agent. Her favorite hobby is listening to music, and one of her favorite quotes is “Never miss a good chance to shut up!”

Sentinel: Audrey Sue Raby

Audrey Sue's home town is Heber City, UT. She also was very involved in FFA and agricultural education at Wasatch High School.

University Representative: Deanna Rothlisberger

Deanna is from New Mexico and from Randolph, Utah. She is an agricultural education major.

Facutly Advisor : Dr. Brian Warnick

Dr. Warnick grew up in Lyman, Wyoming. He is a graduate of Utah State University, receiving bachelors degrees in Secondary Education-Biology and Special Education in 1994. He taught high school agriculture and biology at Box Elder High for three years and at Bear River High for four years. While teaching he received his Masters degree in Agricultural Systems Technology from USU. Although Dr. Warnick loved teaching high school agriculture, he decided to pursue an opportunity to help others become agriculture teachers. In 2001, he accepted an instructor position in the General Agriculture and Agricultural Education department at Oregon State University and earned a Ph.D. in education with a minor in agricultural education in June of 2004. Dr. Warnick has been an assistant professor of Agricultural Education at Utah State University since August 2004.
