Because email isn’t a secure form of communication, we cannot discuss specific dollar amounts or other account information that might compromise your right to privacy. Most account information is generally available online through Access (Banner). If you still need to discuss your account in more detail, please visit our office located in Taggart Student Center room 106 or call (435) 797-0173 during normal business hours.
If you have a general information question, you do not need to provide identifying information.
If you wish limited specific information about your financial aid situation, you can email finaid@usu.edu from your preferred email address listed on Access (Banner). Please include your USU A Number so that we can access your account.*
If you wish to use the form below and receive limited specific information about your financial aid situation, you must provide us with:
- your email address
- your student number (begins with the letter A) and,
- the first and last name of your emergency contact listed on Access (Banner).**
This is in compliance with federal law to ensure your privacy. Specific questions without this identifying information will be returned. If you prefer, you may call us at 435-797-0173.
Please note: Email is NOT secure. Please do not attach financial aid or tax forms. Forms containing your personal financial information can be faxed to 435-797-0654 or sent by U.S. mail.
*To list your preferred email address on USU ACCESS, login to USU ACCESS, select "Personal Information," click on "View/Update Email Addresses," Follow the instructions to submit a Campus Email Address and make sure you make it your Preferred address.
**To list an emergency contact on USU ACCESS, login to USU ACCESS, select "Personal Information," click on "View/Update Emergency Contacts," Click on "New Contact," Enter the requested information and submit changes.
