Information about the Americorps Payment System


The Americorps payment system has now been converted to an online format. Below, you will find instructions for registering as an online Americorps member. This online registration must take place in order to claim your education award. Once you are registered online, you will receive further instructions from Americorps regarding your education award.

Please be aware that the Financial Aid Office at Utah State University will no longer accept paper vouchers.

Americorps Registration Instructions:

  1. Go to Americorps website www.americorps.gov
  2. Under the column “For Individuals” click on *Americorps Online Payment System

  3. (At this time you will be asked to enter your username and password, if you have not previously registered online with Americorps and do not have a username and password, click on *help/register.)
  4. Login Screen-You must now click on *Register to create a new Member/Alum account.
  5. Member/Alum Registration Screen- You must fill in all the required fields and push the submit button. You will then receive a confirmation screen, informing you that an email will be sent, with further instructions for claiming your education award.
