Position Summary:
This position acts as an assistant to the CSA Production Services Marketing Director. The assistant box office manager is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the CSA Box Office under the direction of the Marketing Director. The CSA Box Office sells tickets for all events held in the Fine Arts Complex with over 200 shows per year. The assistant box office manager reports to the CSAPS Marketing Director. |

Ticket Office: (50%) |
|
| |
- Train and schedule ticket clerks. Ensure optimal staffing coverage of the ticket office and walk-up ticket sales.
- Provide a high level of customer service at all times.
- Balance and file daily ticket office reports. Prepare daily ticket office deposits and change funds. Ensure that transactions are reconciled. Process all cash, checks, and credit card sales according to CSA and USU procedures.
- Track ticket stock, ticket envelopes and ticket office supplies.
- Coordinate ticket services for presenters/promoters of events in CSA venues, specifically those presented by CSA affiliated groups. Assist the Marketing Director with the set up of shows. Provide ticket sales counts, reports, and ticket sales projections to presenters/promoters, as needed.
- Handle suggestions, changes, complaints and compliments from promoters/presenters and the public for the ticket office and CSAPS.

|

- Prepare and deliver to the appropriate venue(s) all cash boxes, will call tickets, and comp Lists.
- Setup and test all ticket selling stations, including ensuring there is adequate ticket stock and other ticket selling supplies.
- Be available on site to resolve any ticketing concerns that may arise and assist the ticket clerks in providing superior customer service.
- Collect all cash boxes, unused will call tickets, and verify cash/check totals after the end of ticket selling for each event.

Required Qualifications: |
|
| |
- One year related experience in sales, customer service, and general clerical work.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills, organizational abilities, and professional presentation.
- Computer literacy in word processing, data base management and web site design.
- Ability to manage multiple projects at a time, be self-motivating, and work well under pressure.
