After arriving in time for spring football, Bill Garren is in his first full year as the video
coordinator for the athletics department.
Garren is responsible for video filming and editing of Aggie football and basketball practices and games. He also created the art work seen in the USU Football web site.
He served as the video coordinator at Idaho State in 2000 and 2001 before moving to San Jose State
for the 2002 season. He was an assistant football coach and track coach at his high school alma
mater (Montrose, Colorado) in 2003. He then spent the 2004 and 2005 seasons as video coordinator
at Idaho State before coming to USU.
He earned a master’s degree in athletic administration from Idaho State in 2005.
Grand Junction, Colorado, was an all-conference football player at Montrose High School.
He played one season at Idaho State before beginning his video career. He and his wife Melinda
have two daughters, Maia and Milly.
