Photos show fuels associated with endemic (EN), epidemic (EP) and post-epidemic (PE) populations of bark beetles (Coleoptera: Curculionidae, Scolytinae) in Englemann spruce (ES, Picea engelmannii Parry ex Engelm.), Douglas-fir (DF, Pseudotsuga menziesii Mirb. Franco), and lodgepole pole (LP, Pinus contorta Engelm.) forests located in the Intermountain region of the western United States, 2004 to 2009.
