Take Action!
Buy Earthquake Insurance. Homeowners insurance does not cover earthquake or flood.
Do you need flood insurance? If you already have flood insurance it may cover only your dwelling but not contents. If your lender required you to buy flood insurance it is likely it only covers the building because that's all the lender cares about. You may need separate coverage on your personal property.
