Thank you Geology alumni and friends for your generous and growing support! You've helped improved teaching and learning opportunities for both students and faculty, and helped us fulfill our mission of inspiring students to be lifelong contributors to the profession of Geology. For example, because of your financial support and advice we have recently:

Initiated a PhD program
Upgraded the X-ray diffraction lab
Funded and are building a Luminescence geochronology lab
Given scholarship assistance to many undergraduate and graduate students
Hosted excellent guest lecturers in our speaker program

The Department of Geology at Utah State currently has eight named endowments to support undergraduate and graduate students (see below!), and new endowments will be announced in the near future. All of your gifts are extremely valuable for advancing our mission. For further information on giving to the department, please contact:
