Utah State, A Great Place to Learn and Live

The bustling city of Logan is located in beautiful Cache Valley adjacent to rugged limestone peaks of the spectacular Wasatch Mountains. Pristine mountain canyons and alpine meadows of the Cache National Forest, as well as the scenic Logan River with its blue-ribbon fly-fishing only minutes from campus, provide virtually unlimited enjoyment for outdoor enthusiasts throughout the year. In warm weather months take advantage of outstanding hiking, camping, fishing, hunting, biking, white watering, rock climbing, bird watching, and wildlife photography. When temperatures drop and snow falls, prepare to take advantage of unmatched Utah winter sports, which were showcased during the 2002 Winter Olympics. Excellent downhill and alpine skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, skating, and snowmobiling are easily nearby, or pick a favorite winter recreation spot from Salt Lake City to Jackson Hole, Wyoming. In addition to outdoor recreation, you'll find many celebrated cultural events between Utah State, Logan, and Salt Lake City, including the summer Utah Festival Opera in Logan's historic Eccles Theatre, Utah State campus concerts and stage productions, and Salt Lake's symphony and ballet events.
