Admission Requirements
Students may declare the pre-journalism major at any time after their admission to the University. Majors must maintain a minimum 2.5 Career GPA and a 2.5 GPA in major courses. Students may apply for Journalism major status upon completion of a minimum of 60 semester credits, including the Journalism Premajor Core requirements, while maintaining a 2.5 Career GPA.
