Location

The Student Health and Wellness Center is located at 850 East 1200 North, just north of Romney Stadium. We are on the East side of the large stadium parking lot. There is plenty of free parking in front of the Health and Wellness Building, or you can take the Stadium Express shuttle bus, which stops right out front of the Health Center. Fun, relaxed atmosphere on the Quad where we promote Student Health Services with fliers, pamphlets, games, raffles, free stuff and health information.
Counselors are available for free and confidential screenings in the TSC Ballroom. Tables are set up to coordinate and direct students where they need to be. Information and handouts are available as well.
Hosted by SAAVI: Mean wear women's shoes and walk for a mile to raise awareness for women who are victims of assault. We set up a booth with information and handouts.
Activities and information to help students to know how to stay safe and healthy over spring break despite the stereotype that spring break carries with it.
Games, such as the "Aggie Dating Game" are used to increase awareness and education about creating healthy relationships and ways to be sexually responsible. Booths with raffles, handouts and prizes are usually set up.
A display board with stories of people who are involved in an accident while under the influence of any one of the 3 D's was displayed to raise awareness of the effects of drunk, drugged, drowsy driving.
Games and student activites are held to promote education about smoking and its effects. Posters with stories and information material posted with booths and raffles for prizes.
This is a country wide event held by colleges during this week to raise awareness for drinking responsibly. Several different activities are used such as beer goggle games, obstacle courses, contests, raffles, booths and educational material.

Red Zone is a time between August amd the end of November when students are at the highest risk for sexual assault. The Red Zone Event raises awareness and promotes education on safe practices to prevent individuals from becoming victims of sexual assault through booths, games, raffles, and other student activities.
