Those who wish to pursue a career in teaching must follow the Teaching Emphasis listed on the requirements sheet and fulfill the certification procedures as dictated by the Department of Secondary Education.

Advising with regard to general education requirements is handled by the staff of the Science/HASS Advising Center. Call (435) 797-3883 for an appointment. The Department of History handles advising only with regard to its own major and minor. Call (435) 797-1290 to make an appointment to speak with an advisor in History.
