We invite any and all who have an interest in history and
scholastic research to join our chapter of Phi Alpha Theta.
Applicants must have a 3.1 minimum GPA in at least 12 credit
hours of history and a 3.0 minimum overall GPA. It is not
necessary to be a history major or minor to join Phi Alpha
Theta. A forty-dollar lifetime membership fee is required
to join and must be included with the application (see below).
This will pay for a year's subscription to The Historian,
Phi Alpha Theta's quarterly journal. Subscription in the subsequent
years is optional and it is the responsibility of the applicant
to renew the subscription if he/she so desires.
To join Phi Alpha Theta, simply click on the link below, fill in the required information, and print the page. Then submit the completed form along with an unofficial transcript and the $40 membership fee to the History Office, Old Main 323. Make checks payable to Phi Alpha Theta.
