There are lots of great people to make friends or hang out or study with. It's a super fun environment but isn't distracting when you need to study or do homework.

Each Apartment Includes:
Are you looking to expand your understanding of other cultures? Are you looking for friends that can help broaden your view of the world? Look no further than Greaves Hall, located in the southern part of campus. Home to the Global Village, part of our theme housing, you have the opportunity to be roommates with people from all over the world. Read More ▼
The full apartments in Greaves Hall contain a living room, complete kitchen, three shared bedrooms, one full bath, and a ½ bath. Because Greaves Hall is an apartment with a full kitchen, you can cook your own meals. However, if you don't want to worry about cooking all the time, there are a variety of block meal plan options available through USU Dining Services.
Greaves Hall is near the Merrill-Crazier Library, John M. Huntsman School of Business building, Chase Fine Arts Center, and Engineering Building. With this great location you can roll out of bed and get to class in just a few minute.
Being on-campus puts you near all the big events and social happenings. The Fine Arts building and Kent Concert hall nearby offer musical and drama productions. You're only a few minutes away from the Dee Glen Spectrum where all the home basketball games, played by the Aggie basketball teams, are located. Just a short walk from the Spectrum is Romney stadium where the Aggie football team plays in the fall. If you're looking for a more local socializing opportunity, Greaves Hall has a common lounge room full of couches, games and fun people for you to get to know and become friends with.
- Bunk beds (36" x 80" mattresses)
- 1 large desk with 2 separate seating areas
- 2 chairs
- 2 closets with dressers
Each room has a wired Ethernet port for internet, cable TV connection, curtains or blinds, full-length mirror and wall-to-wall carpeting.
- Upholstered chair in first floor apartments, loveseat in second and third floor apartments.
For your convenience, bathroom facilities are divided into two individual areas. One room contains a bathtub/shower, shower curtain and a sink and in another room is the toilet and an additional sink.
High-efficiency, Energy Star® washers and dryers installed on campus clean effectively, help save time and are gentle on your clothes and the environment! High-efficiency, front loading machines hold more clothes and use less water than conventional laundry equipment.
For best washing results:
- Use only 2 Tbsp. of concentrated HE detergent (it's specially formulated for these machines)
- Choose a cold water setting to save energy
- Wash only full loads
For best drying results:
- Clean dryer filter before use
Room Rates Per Semester 2016-17
- Shared Room: $1,380.00
What To Bring
Make your "home away from home" with this basic list of essential items:
- Bedding: Sheets, blankets, pillow, pillowcases, and bedspread. Mattresses are 36” x 80” which are longer than a regular twin.
- Alarm clock
- Stereo, radio
- Towels and toiletries
- Laundry basket
- Television (each apt. has cable TV hook-up)
- Wall decor, throw pillows, various decorative items as desired.
(Please do not use tape or other types of adhesive for wall décor and make sure that they can be easily removed. A suggestion for hanging posters, pictures, etc., is white Plastitack and Command Hooks from 3M for putting things on the walls.)
In addition to your personal belongings, you will need items for your kitchen. Since you need only one of many items, check ahead with your roommate(s) if possible to avoid duplication. You may even want to wait until you get to Logan and purchase items here after consulting each other. The following is a list of possibilities:
- Dishes, silverware, glasses, serving dishes
- Mixing bowls, hand mixer
- Cutting board, measuring cups and spoons
- Salt and pepper shakers
- Dishtowels, dishcloths, hot pads
- Frying pan, pots and pans
- Dish drainer
- Egg beater, strainer, can opener
- Cheese grater, vegetable peeler
- Clothes iron, small kitchen appliances
Storage space in all buildings is extremely limited, so please plan accordingly.
Housekeeping and Maintenance
Residents are responsible for cleaning their apartment, which includes the bathroom and should stock household cleaning supplies and toilet paper. Vacuum cleaners can be checked out for temporary use at the area office. Repairs and regular maintenance of residence halls is done by Housing Facilities staff.
