Intensive English Language Institute
Welcome to the Intensive English Language Institute (IELI) at Utah State University (USU). Learn the English language and cultural skills you need for academic study at the university. Students who complete our program do not need a TOEFL score to take undergraduate or graduate classes at USU. (Other international students must have a TOEFL score.)
IELI began in 1972. It is accredited by the Commission on English Language Program Accreditation (CEA) [April 2002-07] and is a member of the American Association of Intensive English Programs (AAIEP) and UCIEP, a Consortium of University and College Intensive English Programs.
