No TOEFL is required by USU for undergraduate
or graduate students who successfully complete IELI

Application

New students are admitted in August, January, and May. Select an appllication form below that matches what you want to do. For help, please send an email to IELI.

1. Intensive English Study Only. Take classes in IELI, then apply to USU later, go home, or transfer to another university. (If you transfer to another university, you may need a TOEFL score even if you complete IELI.)
2. Intensive English + Undergraduate Study. First, take intensive English classes. Then after successfully completing IELI, go on to get an undergraduate degree from USU.
3. Intensive English + Graduate Study. First, take intensive English classes. Then after successfully completing IELI, go on to get an graduate degree from USU.
