To apply for these internships, please download the application packet, fill it out, and bring it to Old Main 109, or email it to brandee.halverson@usu.edu. Applications for Spring, 2014 will be accepted through October 15, although some internships will be filled before then.

Some internships you must apply for directly through their organization. If this is the case, the description will have direction on how to apply. Please let us know when you apply for these internships. We have connections in many of these offices, and we can make sure they see your application. Note that some of these organizations may have different deadlines.

Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute (CHCI)

The purpose of the Congressional Internship Program (CIP) is to expose young Latinos to the legislative process and to strengthen their professional and leadership skills, ultimately promoting the presence of Latinos on Capitol Hill and in Federal Agencies. Once you are accepted into this program, they will place you with an office on capitol hill or with a federal agency.

Semesters: Spring, Summer, Fall

Duties:
Attend weekly seminars
Participate in a CHCI sponsored community service project
Assist and perform all duties required of you by the office you are placed with. These change based on the office you are with.

This internship is paid.
