Francia was born in the first Santiago of America (Dominican Republic), and moved to Utah in 2013. She is double majoring in French and Global Communication, and double minoring in Spanish and Linguistics; she wants to become the education minister in her country, and some day an ambassador of the DR. Francia loves trying to learn new languages, meeting new people, spending time with friends, traveling, and dancing.
Ligia was born in Brazil. She is majoring in Computer Science. She hopes to live in a van and code while traveling. When she is not coding she is outdoors: camping, fishing, stargazing, cave exploring, nearly everything outdoorsy.
Andrea was born in Peru and lived in the United States for ten years. She is majoring in International Business Administration. Her biggest dream is to have a huge family and start her own business. She hopes to retire early and spend her last days in her hometown. She loves music, outdoor sports, dancing and just being with friends.
Ghazal Abu Salim
Ghazal was born in Palestine. She is majoring in Biology, and minoring in Chemistry and PreMed. She hopes to become a doctor, traveling the world while saving millions of lives. She wants to live her life in Palestine. She loves her family, her country, traveling, and getting lost in nature. She plans to live an extraordinary and adventurous life.
Cultural Events Chair
Vivian (Shiquan) Shao was born in Shandong, Cina. She moved to the United States as an exchange student in high school, in which she loved everything about it. She is majoring in Special Education. Helping people in need is always one of her biggest goals in life. She loves traveling and the most interesting parts about her are trying new things and making new friends.
Public Relations Chair
Martha is a descendant of Lebanon born and raised in the Dominican Republic, and moved to Utah in 2013. She is majoring in Fine Arts with an emphasis in Photography, and double minoring in Art History and Anthropology Studies. She has been focusing her projects as a visual artist in the Humanitarian issues that are surrounding the world nowadays. Martha loves learning about new cultures, exploring new places, eating Arab food and traveling while she makes photographs.
Sports and Recreation Chair
Keval was born in India and moved to Utah in 2015 pursuing a Masters in Computer Science and wants to become a software engineer. He wants to be a passionate advocate for campus recreational events. He likes playing outdoor and indoor sports, chilling with friends and helping those in need, all within his nature. He also loves to play cricket, soccer, badminton and many other sports.
Student Life Chair
Lina was born in Gaza, Palestine. She has lived half of her life here in the United States. She is majoring in Biology, with a minor in Chemistry and PreMed. She hopes her education continues on to Medical School and becoming a doctor. She hopes to become an Oncologist where cancer is what fascinates her the most, and having a direct hand in helping in that area. She loves traveling, different cultures and people.
