Mission As a community resource center, The Green Space Institute links university resources to regional needs. This is accomplished with the publication of design briefs, local seminars and presentations and through a virtual clearinghouse for information on green space planning. As a learning center, The Green Space Institute provides opportunities for students to become uniquely engaged in community-based projects. Through intensive interactions with faculty, citizens and practitioners, students are encouraged to become not only skilled professionals, but also engaged community members and life-long leaders in environmental stewardship. |
