(SYstematic Multiple Level Observation of Groups) is a theory of personality and group dynamics integrated with a set of practical methods for measuring and changing behaviors and values in a participative manner. It can be us ed in multiple ways: as leadership development for individuals, as team building for intact work teams, and as organizational development for entire organizational systems or subsystems.

is based on over 50 years of research in small group dynamics and rests on a solid theoretical foundation. Participants spend 15 to 30 minutes filling out a series of values- and behavior-based questionnaires, and then spend f rom 4 hours to 3 days receiving feedback and planning for changes in behavior that will improve their interpersonal effectiveness.
