About Utah State University's College of Agriculture
Founded as a land-grant agricultural college in 1888, Utah State University has grown into a premier research institution internationally recognized for its intellectual and technological leadership in land, water, space and life enhancement.
USU's College of Agriculture is proud of the university's agricultural roots. While the college continues to provide innovation in agricultural production, processing, and distribution of products that sustain our lives, it has expanded its efforts to include conservation, biotechnology and disease cures. The College of Agriculture is focused on the science of life.
Utah State's agricultural curriculum teaches students how to link knowledge of soil, water, plants, and animals to human health and safety with hands-on experience and a close connection to research faculty.
About 800 undergraduate students and 200 graduate students are currently enrolled in USU's College of Agriculture.
